Sample nature’s bounty in York’s Central Market House where farmers have gathered to sell their goods at market since 1888.
In addition to the fresh, locally grown produce, take a bite out of our area’s regional specialties such as red-beet eggs, shoo-fly pie, chow chow and scrapple.
Or, try local meats, fish and cheeses and enjoy holiday and seasonal specialties.
The unusual L-shaped, neo-Romanesque-style, brick building has five towers and was designed by York architect J.A. Dempwolf. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
