The guide will contain heritage information about our local agriculture as well as listings of local resources, including downtown farmer's markets, farm markets, roadside stands, farm stays, wineries & heritage attractions. Also coming soon will be a K-5 educational curriculum to accompany the guide. |

Look for one of our Heritage Waystations (web kiosks) at Bube's Brewery ( Mount Joy), Landis Valley Museum (Lancaster) & the PDCVB Visitors Center (off of Route 30 in Lancaster). |

Lancaster County Heritage & York County Heritage programs - We partnered with the Lancaster County & York County Planning Commissions to initiate a process to refresh and expand the successful Lancaster County Heritage program & create a York County Heritage program. |

The Civil War is alive and well in the North! We work with Rivertownes PA USA to assist in the coordination of the River Towns Gateway, which is part of the state's regional Pennsylvania Civil War Trails: Prelude to Gettysburg initiative. |

We worked with Rivertownes PA USA, Mary Means & Associates & other local partners to develop the River Towns Heritage Development Strategy, a strategy for economic revitalization in the historic river towns of Marietta, Columbia and Wrightsville. |

We have worked & are working with various partners to develop the Susquehanna Heritage Park & Discovery Center, a visionary community partnership to save our scenic Susquehanna River landscape & create a showcase park & education center for residents & visitors. |

We joined forces with Rivertownes PA USA and Brinjac Engineering to complete the Veterans Memorial Bridge Lighting Feasibility Study. In addition to restoring the historic lights on the bridge, the study looks at making improvements to the plaza entrances and under lighting of the bridge at night. We are now working to implement the study. |

Partnering with local artist & curator, Rob Evans, we are working to acquire and create a permanent exhibit of Susquehanna River paintings from the highly acclaimed Visions of the Susquehanna exhibit. Once together, the collection will be on public display at the John & Kathryn Zimmerman Center for Heritage until the Susquehanna Gateway Visitor Education Center (part of the Susquehanna Heritage Park) is built and opened to the public. |

River goers and paddlers will enjoy the Lower Susquehanna River Water Trail Map & Guide. Enclosed in a vinyl envelope are 3 waterproof maps. Additionally, there are 21 interpretive panels are located on both sides of the Susquehanna at public river access points. Near a few of the interpretive signs, you'll also find signs with safety information. |
